My name is Oyinkansola! I am a professional copy editor experienced with proofreading and editing. I am adept at being flexible and changing with the times. I have been on this path for over five years. My academic background (BSc. and MSc. in Communications; PhD in Management) has definitely helped in moulding my skills. My academic journey has further fuelled my vision to nurture and propel budding writers and authors on their journey to content creation and expertise.
I specialize in supporting prospective students in their journey towards higher education.
In my role as a professional proofreader and editor, I offer a comprehensive array of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of authors and creators across various genres and formats.
In addition to my proficiency in proofreading and editing, I've extended my services to encompass content writing, development editing, and ghostwriting,
I have known Oyin for about four years now and I can say these words with so much confidence, Oyin is an amazing person”. I have had an opportunity to observe her and experience her editing skills and I can also confidently say that she is great at editing. Once she picks up a task, she executes it excellently. She is patient with the author of the work and sits with you (virtually or physically) until the work blossoms into a piece that you can be proud of. She delivers promptly and ensures that you are satisfied with the job. She is also very polite and patient. She is always very willing to learn new things and is also very innovative. She is equipped to handle any editing job you give her and would accomplish the goals you set in a courteous, excellent and timely manner. I strongly endorse making Oyinkansola Ige a member of your team.
Oyinkan came through for me when I needed it the most- as proofreader and editor of y first book - "Can I Be Married Already?!" You can count on her to deliver on time and in a professional fashion.
Oyinkansola has a very keen eye for detail and a brilliant mind. She edited the first draft of a book for a client of mine and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. She is definitely destined for great things.
I met Oyin in 2017 at church in the UK while pursuing my masters'. We fast became friends. Oyin is very confident in herself, especially her abilities. Fast forward 2018, just when I was about wrapping up my dissertation, I experienced writers' block. Oyin offered to read over my work while I took the time to get my mind stabilized and back to work. I must say, her insight into my work, her attention to the details (most of which were missing because of writers' block), the connections she made to current applicable circumstances in the African educational space was exactly what I needed to restrategize and submit my work on time. She is well-read and well-informed. Drop a topic for discussion with Oyin and she will not run out of things to say and things to write about. She is able to relate personally to the writing and can offer approaches that can make your work exude the confidence it requires to stand out from others. By editing my work, my supervisor described my dissertation as "well-thought-through, leaving little room for ambiguity and ideas well-connected". Oyin is your go-to person on all things online editing.
I was intrigued by Oyinkan's work. She helped me in editing my Statement of Purpose(SOP), which I used for my Graduate School application and of course I was admitted into the School to pursue my masters degree. She did not only edit it but transformed my written work into a beautiful piece. Owing to the fact that I am not a writer as such, she helped in reconstructing my phrases, making them presentable and helped me put my thoughts into words. I would recommend her for any proof-read, book editing and any thing that has to do with writing anyday.
I have known Oyinkansola for more than 15 years and I have had the pleasure of schooling and working with her. She is a studious and detailed oriented person. Most recently, I worked with her on some academic essays and can attest to her top-notch review skills and impeccable attention to detail. She was professional and gave timely feedback. Oyinkansola has exceptional editing and research skills and it is no surprise that she’s applying it to a Ph.D. program! I highly recommend her and strongly believe she would be a great asset to any team and organization
Oyinkansola is a prolific writer with exceptional editing skills.
Reliability. That’s what you’ll get when you work with Oyinkan on editing your next book project. Reliable quality and reliable delivery. I was recently involved in managing a book project (My Journey to the Top by Victor O. Mbanisi) for the author and we were working with a near-impossible timeline. We had to edit the manuscript, get it ready for publishing and print, all within about 2.5 months. That meant we really only had about one month for editing. To make this work, I got a small team of editors to work on copy editing and refinement. Oyinkan was my lead editor and she worked wonders. She was able to meet stringent deadlines with high-quality work, sometimes even overnight. To say I enjoyed working with Oyinkan would be an understatement. She demonstrated solid mastery of her craft, great responsibility and ownership of the project, and strong sense of urgency in meeting milestones and deliverables. I am confident in the reliability of Oyinkan’s services and would gladly recommend her to whomever requires editing services.
Oyinkan helped edit my dissertation, the quality of my work improved as she helped with the logical flow of my ideas and ensured the appropriate use of words. She edited my resume and cover letters for job applications. I can say that there is no better person that I would have entrusted to tell the stories of my achievements. I totally enjoy working with Oyinkan because she is patient enough to listen to my intent in order to communicate with the best words, she is also particular about making me learn as much from the process so I can be better.
Oyinkansola Ige has an incredibly impressive eye for detail, and not just grammatically. Her articulatory skills helped greatly with the finishing of my book "Becoming a Spectacular Woman". A professional to the core. Thank you again Ms. Ige
Oyinkansola did an exceptional job with editing my book "The Journey to Significance" She definitely went above and beyond the scope of work. I was particularly impressed with her level of detail and professionalism —spotting errors that I wouldn’t have noticed. She took the project like hers and I definitely would recommend Oyin for any book project.

Once upon a time, there was YOU.
YOU with big dreams, a childlike heart, and a hunger to do all that God has called you to do.
YOU with a sense of purpose and a zest for life.
YOU with multiple gifts and talents and a strong resolve to do great things and change the world, one step at a time.
YOU, though imperfect, yet resolute.
All of a sudden, YOU’VE become timid. Scared of DOING because of what OTHERS think. Hesitant to begin because of fear of failure. YOU decided to take the audience seat, being a spectator instead of being an active character in the play of your life.
All of a sudden, YOU’VE stopped dreaming. The things that made your eyes spark now leave a tinge of regret: “Had I known, I would have begun five years ago.”
“Had I known, I would have stuck with this dream even though no one was encouraging me”.
Perhaps, the people who were cheering you on left without saying goodbye. Perhaps, your mistakes and imperfections made you give up on yourself. Perhaps, you’ve been on the hamster’s wheel, trying so hard to make a ‘name’ for yourself so much that you’ve forgotten to actually ‘live’. Perhaps, you’re at wits end, not knowing what turn to take, or how to begin again.
I bring you these words of encouragement:
Better is the end of a matter than the beginning thereof (Ecclesiastes 7:8).
Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching for what’s ahead (Philippians 3:13-14) .
Life has given you a fighting chance. Your breathing is a signal of hope that you can still rise up to the occasion, and you can still let God sit on the throne of your destiny and rule it. You can begin again!
Tell someone to tell someone to tell someone that it is NOT too late! God is still in need of you!
Bible Passage: Mark 2:1-12
There is NOTHING impossible with God. However, sometimes, we are limited by what our minds can comprehend.
If you agree, with God, there are some things we will never understand. Including the miracles He wrought, too good to not believe.
In this passage, I realize that once the limitations are removed, Christ will step in. And sometimes our friends have roles to play in this.
The lame man couldn’t reach Jesus, but His friends could, and oh boy, they did!
The lame man couldn’t walk up to Jesus, but His friends made it possible.
They exercised their faith by going on the roof, clearing it up, and helping their friend gain access to Christ, his healer.
As a friend, your faith can go a long way in facilitating the healing of your fellow friend.
Through you, your friend’s faith can be renewed! Do you know that? You can’t just watch your friend wallow in sickness or in life issues and do nothing. Even if you can’t support in cash or kind, you can support through fervent faith.
Faith that breaks roofs and defies the odds.
Your faith should be obvious in what you do. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be (Matthew 6:21).
So the next time you see your friend having an issue, believe that in faith and with a heart of genuine love, that issue can be resolved.
This book shook and broke all the tables on what I ever thought about marriage. I’d like to share ten things I learnt. At the end of the day, marriage is responsibility.
1. The existence of a desire does not justify its satisfaction. The fact that I can doesn’t mean I should. The fact that I can speak anyhow doesn’t mean I should.
2. Love that has chosen freely is an unbreakable bond.
3. In a heart where there is room for several, there is no room for one alone. It’s hard to focus on your one and only when you have multiple partners in your head and heart.
4. Marriage is a risk. Otherwise it would be a bore. But the risk is probably less than you think, so long as love is free to work its miracle. Love is a miracle.
5. Love is the free and mutual giving between two persons. Free. Mutual. Not forced or hindered.
6. Being one in faith is the foundation for becoming one in marriage.
7. True love communicates. Love that finds no words to express itself soon dies.
8. Every marriage is a unique experience, filled with the unknown and unexpected. Confidence in God helps such a journey become a magnificent one.
9. Love is not lazy. We must take the trouble – the hard labor of love is to search out God’s will afresh in each case.
10. The one who is not ready to be the first to apologise after a quarrel should not marry; and the one who has no humor had better not marry.
Which of these points stand out for you? Let me know please. This is a great book by the way for engaged or courting couples.
